Faunsdale, AL		Friends of ours ran a dairy in South Central Mississippi. Hurricane Rita, I think or maybe Katrina came up their way and knocked down a lot of big power transmission lines feeding into the area and tire up the local area as well with trees down all over the place. The utility projected 3 weeks to a month to restore power. They had a single PTO generator that they had to swap from milking barn and house to a remote well to pump water every day. So about a week in, they called and asked to borrow one of ours.

I expected the son or his dad to make the 2 hr trip but when they showed up it was the son, wife and children all in the truck. He said they just wanted the chance to ride in the AC for a while and stop for fast food!
