| Quebec was hit pretty bad, those towers was a domino effect one goes down and keep taking the next one..
It seem to be a bad area in between the Ontario Border and Montreal , for bad storms.
We had an army helicopter land beside the house in the field and they got out to have a leak.
We got a portable generator from a machinery dealer near us , that was getting them in and loaning them out to farmers. The big portable generator that we got from them , came from Buffalo New York or around that area. It sure saved us and we took it to two other farms , so that they could do there chores. It was out for 11 days at our milk barn and 14 days at our heifer barn two miles away.
We made sure we got a generator, to go on the tractor after that and have use it many times after.
Had a hydro wire down in our front yard and we knew that we we're getting any power till they fixed it.
I know a ice storm is bad , but its no way as bad as a tornado, hurricane going through your place or neighbourhood. That's something ,that I really feel sorry for the people.
We had a small tornado go through, our place and ruin a silo and knock a small shed down.
