Uffda! That is my fear! Not only on the acres I would like to drill but many fields around the area! Nothing will germinate right now. I might switch gears and drill Italian rye around Thanksgiving. Wanted to drill 80 acres of cereal rye. Might try Italian on the 45 acre patch that will be used as a pasture next year. Folks in the East worry about water erosion, wind to my west and south....Here it can be both! The fields I’d like to seed water erosion is not top of concern.
Rye, give up?
