Subject: organic seed prices



Certified organic corn seed costs about $220 per bag (80k).
Derry forage soybeans cost about $40 per bag (140k).

cost of corn seeds per acre = 2/3*45k*$220/80k = $82.50

cost of forage soybean seeds per acre = 1/3*128k*$40/140 = $12.19

Total cost = ~$95/acre
