Southeast Colorado | I am willing to make that transition and am actually set up pretty well to do so. However, right now, those other things aren't paying the bills either. For some damn reason the govt keeps throwing the biggest dollars at corn and beans. Why is it necessary to encourage the overproduction of these two crops? When I increase forage acres there's never a subsidy for that............so even when it makes sense...........I HAVE to factor in the loss of a govt payment. | |
