I don’t farm insurance, I farm ground. With that said, I don’t do all the bells and whistles on a crop. If the beans need fungicide or insecticide, I’ll do that. Corn doesn’t get multipass fert, foliar, fungicide, etc. It gets manure or fall commercial fert, some N with pre pass, starter (seems pointless but Equipment is already on the planter), and it yields just fine.
Why feed this corn crop any more
