Coles County, Illinois | I you you should find that happy medium where you're giving him a break on rates but still charging enough for him to have some incentive to get his own stuff. I was a lot more mechanically inclined than my father and took over combine repairs/wear replacements. In return his combine costs were greatly reduced and I got a break on harvest rates. Labor we really didn't keep track of but all field operations had a negotiated cost. Fuel was separate. Tractors per hour. Combine and implements per acre. | |
