Son statrting farming

It really depends on the personalities.


And depends on there family situation , Farming Son has 3 small children and large farm payments, I have worked with him to buy a farm of his own and let him have some rented ground . I supply the machinery & fuel for him & also let him do some custom work with it.
On the hog side , he gets paid a managers salary and will soon take over the land were barns,shop is......

I have seen both sides of farming were Son?daughter is given everything and blows it or were parents hard hard axxes and charged full price and thought the kids should suffer until they are 50-60 to appreciate it or that they should be ever beholden to parents.
Best thing u can give anybody is an opportunity , then its up to them to swim or sink on there own.

Something we should all think about is 'Gifts are often given, but seldom given freely'
