| Custom manure handling is a hard business. All of the guys I see doing it here have 3 or 4 quad tracked tractors. 3 or 4 tanks, some are using hoses and pumping it to the applicator. Huge financial output. 25-30 years ago custom baling was a go around here. Most of the older guys wanting to retire in a few years hired their hay baling instead of putting out the money for a baler. Those guys are gone now. There might be some newcomers with a herd of goats, a few horses, etc that need your service. Most of them want smaller round bales. Check it out before jumping in too deep. | |
