What the guys in the paper are complaining about is they don't know what the covid restrictions will be at the time of the hunt, expecting the MNR to know that answer is foolish. Best, albiet maybe not the cheapest option, for those guys is to plan on taking more vehicles, and maybe renting an extra cabin . If the border isn't open to recreational travel by then ( unlikely it will still be closed by who know) they are going to end up taking the long way to camp, through Ontario, probably add 10 hrs to their trip. Personally our hunt camp is facing something similar for the deer hunt. we sleep up to 16 ( 12 is more typical) in a single bunk room. Everyone has their own bed but quarters are tight. Several guys considering not going this year... Ill wait until sometime in October to make my decision. |
