| Going from the combine to the bagger via the grain cart would be the only way I could hope to get the crop harvested in a timely manner. We simply do not have the manpower to have four people sitting in line at the elevator all the time. That's one of the many reasons we usually hire our crop harvested.
As far as asking how soon the crop needs to be out, the answer is before it snows too much or blows the crop down. In my mind that means the crop needs to be out as soon as it's ready to come out (dry enough). You never know what the weather will bring. | |
