Hard to stay motivated at times for sure. I always tell folks that farming is a great way of life. I just need someone to remind me every now and then what's so great about it!

Our normally reliable tractor has really been throwing fits this year. I reckon it's making up for lost time. Thankfully it has never been anything major but it has been down a lot while we're trying to plant. Among other things it has twice now blown hydraulic hoses down underneath where I have to be a contortionist to get in there to even find the leak and then again when replacing the hoses. All the while you get the added bonus of bathing in oil to do the job..........yay! I used to pride myself on fixing these things but now that I'm in my 50s that esteem has lost it's luster. Anyway............could always be worse. At least I haven't had to get a real job yet!
