odd that this should come up: just the other day, I thought about it, as I am doing a lot of daily driving-some in urban area: I do not notice the road rage as say 10 years ago, BUT ! ,I do notice a LOT of breathtaking high-speed driving-even on city streets. Apparently not enough police out doing speed work. (notice to reader: "yes, I speed as well, but I have my limits")....:/

From friends on other PD”s . Dallas is so short handed on officers they only do
Emergency calls , very few traffic stops .
You can literally drive 10-15 miles over the limit and still
Get passed .
Where I work , we had a drunk hit our fence . We called Dallas PD never showed up
