South central Minnesota | Regularly we get someone who doesn't want to drive the average speed of traffic and is holding up several cars behind them. I just don't understand this.
I would think looking back and seeing a lineup of cars on your bumper would make you speed up or pull off somewhere and let them by. Whats worse is when the person at the back of the lineup decides they are going to go 80 miles an hour and pass the whole group.
One time when I was the third in line and a guy from the back tried to pass us all while someone was coming from the other direction. He made it to about where I was and decided he couldn't make it. We ended up meeting three wide and the oncoming driver went in the ditch and rolled. The person going slow in front never seen any of the carnage and just kept going not realizing he part they played in the accident.
From then on I make sure I don't get caught in a line of traffic with a slow person in front. | |
