We definitely have more snow cover here than usual. Like a lot more! Most years the ground is bare by now. So it's not chalking up to be an early spring as of now. That being said I am not too worried about it.... Yet. Then again, there ain't diddly boo I can do so I guess I ain't worried. We go when we can go. FWIW, I spent a good part of the day with the Geo-technical engineer doing soil bores. We got four 20'ers done so far when I came for lunch to warm up. There is about 3 feet of snow cover I had to clear out which, as I said, is unusual. That being said, surprisingly there is ONLY 2 feet of frost or less. That's an amazingly small amount for us, especially with the record cold winter. We are slated to get 1.5" of rain tomorrow. I bet that melts a lot of the snow down. |
