I do not know if the total rows of corn planters in the US is more now then when a 12 row was the biggest, but what is different now is you can use GPS late into the night, lights are better, central full means you do not have to fill as much, and no bags. Also and this might be the biggest most of the guys with 36 row planters do not have to stop and do livestock chores.
My field work got done much sooner when I got out of the cow business. |
