Lancaster County, Pa. | I was working on a harvest crew back in the 90s, we were cutting wheat at the boss's place in Oklahoma. A storm came up rather abruptly and we all unloaded quick and lined the machines up and jumped in the service trucks and left the field. Well, we found some wheat that didn't get rained on so we went back to get the machines and go back to cutting wheat. When we got back to the field we found one of the combines was still running, I guess in the hurry to get out of the field the fella forgot to shut it down! | |
