North Central Illinois | Great discussion. The sharing health plans are surging in popularity due to the obscene state of our health insurance system in this country. Some people literally have no other option. How in the hell is a family of say four supposed to afford $15,000 a year or more with high deductibles when they are probably only making about $50,000 to $60,000 a year? It's crazy. The problem I see is that when everyone runs to one side of the boat we know what happens. These programs seem to have been working pretty well but I am afraid they will become overwhelmed before too long.
I understand skepticism about cancer treatments and the overall state of our healthcare system. However, some of the statements made by people in this thread regarding cancer treatments and how they are managed are idiotic. It's easy to sit there and say you would do this or do that but unless you have been faced with cancer and your own mortality you really don't know what you are talking about. This isn't addressed to you tntfarm just to the thread in general. | |
