Plant these plants about 2,5" deep and if you can water them in the furrow with some Alpine 6-24-6. That will get them going.
Sets you plant about 1-1,5" deep, depending on moisture
Spanish onions in general don't store really well. For longer storage you better take a cooking type onion.
Never cut the leaves shorter than 4 - 5 inches and keep em dry and cool. Dry is more important then cool however a storage temperature of 34 F is ideal Relative humidity 75 or lower
