South Central Iowa | What I really meant was there is nothing moral or immoral about it. Unlike abortion, which is the termination of a life, complexities in the tax code just are. I think it is most certainly unfair and mentioned such back in the first week of January, but morality occupies a higher ground that shouldn't be sullied by some minor quirk/accident in tax law. Usage of the word in that sort of circumstance diminishes it.
I agree with you though that morals are up to the individual's conscience. Everyone is always open to individual choice on participating or not. | |
