These guys actually stop at weigh stations when the light is off. They feel like they are cheating the system if they are not. They also haul 3% under 80k just so it's safe. Moreover, they invite and pay for the DOT to inspect all of their equipment on a monthly basis, just so they can sleep at night and not cheat the system.


I'm betting most guys on here pull into weigh stations when the light is ON. I bet most of them haul LEGAL weight and try their best not to go over and endanger other drivers. I bet most of them would have their equipment inspected if that was the law that pertained to them.

...And I bet most of them got taught by their mothers and fathers at an early age that if you mess up you fess up. you take your punishment and don't try to run and hide. Maybe your momma didn't teach you that. Congrats.
