My point about Tara telling his landlords that he would have to pay 31% less for him to keep farming their land also means he knows that he will get 31% less for anything he owns. And for some that means they will have 31% less to use to subsidize rented land that they didn't negotiate a lower price on.
It's a lot easier to tolerate losing money on rented ground if your making a killing on owned ground than when your losing on both. | |
