Sw MN | I think starting in the late 80's would have been easier than starting in the late 70's.
I went broke in the 80's, and I always said the biggest problem of being broke in the 80's was you were broke in the 80's. There were good opportunities in the late 80's, could have bought an improved 80 for $3200 down. Heck I didn't have $32 let alone $3200. Begged my Dad to buy it at $400 an acre, but it might go down more. It could of, it already went from $1950 to 400 in five years. Ah hindsight what a wonderful gift to have. | |
