Missouri | There are a fair number of young farmers who have never known what a loss in farming is. They were too young for the 80's. If we see a down turn in profits for a couple of years it will separate the men from the boys. I encourage these young farmers as they need to succeed. I also remember us young farmers in the 70's. We were just as enthusiastic. "Buy yourself rich" It worked for a while. Thank God my Dad was there to keep a bit in my mouth at that time in my life. | |
