I am expanding the sheep. I've kept back most of the ewe lambs so its growing like wildfire. up to 150 keepers now. In a year it will be over 300, then 600. And I'll have to find another chicken house to use. I worried about flooding the market but I could have sold 2000 this fall if I had had them.
The prices lambs are bringing makes sheep look real good right now. Even keeping back half the crop I am still making decent money.
I bought a few hogs to feed out for the first time ever
And I am feeding out some ducks for foi gras (experiment)- I am looking for some geese I think they will work better year round.
