Yes, I have read that book. It was worth reading, but as always it is one fellows view of things and he is not always on the mark and it was published in 2007. I also do not think he could be called a "Soil Scientist" by any stretch either. He is not far from the Palouse area and the Palouse Hills have been the Poster Child of severe soil erosion for many years and there are some still using moldboard plows on that those steep hills. Just tillage erosion alone is amazing in places. And this happens to be another year of severe erosion in that area because of the winter weather pattern and some rain on frozen soil.
