ne neb | When i bought my first cows about 10 years ago it was almost a daily occurance for me to feel like a failure. One winter i had such bad luck i remember pulling a dead calf and just standing their crying. Now Im dealing with the same thing as you. Really hard to explain to a 4 year old why animals die. We had one char calf this spring that he loved. Calf died of course and i told him sometimes it happens but the calf will go to heaven. He liked the sound of that so im gonna stick with that plan for now. | |
