NE Iowa | If you have an electric roaster get a plastic bag type liner for it(not a necessity but helps) then put a few cups of water under the plastic bag. Take your prime rib and salt and pepper generously and rub it in. Set your roaster at 350-375 and walk away. It takes about 4 hours and you can crank the heat or turn it down to get it done @ meal time. I like the 135_140 range before pulling it, but it depends on how you like it. It will go over great!
I used a Treager wood burning grill this past Christmas, two different times, injected some of it with marinade and tried different rubs. If you start with a good piece of meat, just some salt and your good to go. IMO
