South central Minnesota | SAT, How many endusers were(are) so bullish that they aren't locking in these lower prices waiting for this input To drop to levels which would certainly improve the bottom line? Some are convinced it still will go lower yet, just a bump in the road and they could be right but should they take that chance? Why were there any endusers paying over 8 for corn that they could of locked in early in that year for 5? Shouldn't they have seen the problems coming? Endusers are just as myopic as grain producers. It was a bit telling when hedgie had his short reply of "they got feed usage wrong" , looks like he got caught leaning the wrong way. I still have to ask, why didn't you bet the farm when "you knew" that was the end of the run in August of 12? No balls no glory! Ego has a way of trumpeting in victory and is blind to the failures.
