Subject: Re: thoughts on share cropping

haskell county, ks
rent out here has always been sharecrop. the old standard in place has been 1/3 2/3 with landlord paying share of herbicide, chemical, and any irrigation fuel. landlord is responsible for well and any underground improvements and gearhead and pump. some will work out some on pivots. some will also pay share of gmo fees as they reduce insecticide expense. sw ks area. a also rent some on 75% 25% and i pay all production expenses. we also rent out dad's ground on those shares in central ks. i am willing to take as landlord what i am willing to pay as tenant.
