Communication software is one of the most difficult to write. The CAN protocol requires itself to be the absolute controller, and so be it since it needs to apply the brakes when it wants. If (is?) there is a standard kernel for ISO 11783, I would embrace it open hearted.
How important is ISO 11783 standard to you?
