If you ever want to have the ability to plug-n-play electronics from tractor, combine, sprayer, spreader... (monitors, sensors, GPS, etc.) without having to buy additional cables, converters, etc., then you have to drive it home to your dealers that change needs to happen. Speak with your check book. Stop buying into your dealer's palaver that what they sell works (until you get it home). ISO11783 is the EXACT same situation that standardized the likes of hydraulic couplers. ISO11783 is a standard communication protocol that affects many segments and has no downside except to maybe a shortliner who hasn't the resources to develop for the ISO standard.
