Pennyrile, West Ky. | We sort of crossed that road in the last couple years, in anticipation of getting older and possibly being in wheel chairs if not worse we opted for the new house with all 36" doors, a 4' hallway, total wheel chair accessibility. back in the early ninety's my wife had to spend a couple years in a wheel chair and our old house was full of 28" doors and some even smaller, the lack of accessibility made a bad situation even worse...my advice is build new and keep possible needs for the future in mind and hope for the best,,,,,good luck...........John | |
