We built a 2000sq ft home with a full basement not finished last year. I acted as general also and went cheap on some things and nice on others. Flooring is nice along with countertops. Ended up having over 300K in it without land costs. Wouldnt bank on the 250K for 2500sq ft unless you go on lower end of spectrum.
