Owens Cross Roads, AL | It can be done fairly easy if you watch your family living expenses. It takes more money away from the farm than most people realize. I farm more acres than that and own 1/4 of my acres, but I drive a school bus for the insurance and $16,000 salary. My wife works but her insurance isn't very good and costs 3 times more. It is a pain to stop work and be gone for 1.5 hours each afternoon, but I get a sub for the afternoons when combining and picking cotton. Wilson | |
