The farmers in our area have respect for each other also, but a bto from 60  miles away doesn't seem to care about any of us. He is offering about $100 more an then any of the locals. He is also not afraid to go around and tell everyone. They sent out a letter to everyone in about 3 townships last year showing where he paid about $200.00 an acre more then the going rent. You should consider yourself lucky if no body from outside your area comes in there and starts raising the rent.
