Northeast Nebraska and Candelaria Philippines | I live in North East Nebraska. One thing to keep in mind here is that this area is not just a flood plain. It's a "FLOODWAY" I inncorrect called it a spillway in my orginal post.
Also, as far as the comment about ancestors working hard on the level, i high doubt many of the ancestors worked for the army corps of engineers when they were building the levee.
