I think you are supposed to drain through a filter bed of wood chips or some such organic as well?

If possible, you put the tile in on the contour, so it doesn't vary in depth. You can break up your fields into smaller area with a gate on each level.... Still takes pretty flat ground to do that. And more tile to do the same job. Can't see it ever working on my ground but that doesn't mean some bueracrat won't require it anyhow.

I'm just scared of what rules the govt will dream up next. Stuff from the last 20 years doesn't always make much sense, I wonder what crazy ideas will become law in the future. I see other industries go to other countries because they can't exist here any more. Hate to see that happening to agriculture. It was a good thing for this country.
