Brian, I have a nice gooseneck that we put a 1,600 gallon tank on for starter or 32%. Pull it with 2008 GMC Topkick 5500 series. It’s a load, but works fine. Also have an International 9300 with a 3,200 gal tank, almost a twin to Jared 8970’s. 3406B provides crazy power, and stops on a dime. As nice as the Topkick is (pickup on steroids) the 9300 is the first choice here.
