cropsey, il 61731 | Thanks. I happen to have an old Ipad mini that I use with a 20/20 in the combine so I'm constantly trying to add uses for an outdated Ipad (I'm getting old). However, it sounds like I could just get a windows tablet and hopefully run a serial cable out of it directly to the paradyme. It would handle the internet and maybe Lances software would give me the nmea serial output.
On the base station side, I just realized that whatever I use has to see the same sats as my paradyme and I would guess just L1/L2 and GLONASS (what's on my paradyme). Am I wrong? Could I get a "loaded" receiver that has L1/L2/L5 Glonass Galileo, etc. and have good results? The paradymes are pretty stable so I'll use them for quite a while - however, I'm sure there will be a diy dual antenna receiver eventually. Replacing the machine control side of the paradyme might get more interesting. thanks | |
