By chinese hardware do you mean FJ Dynamics?
If so it's a Company based in the Republic of Singapore which is not in China, but on the Malay Peninsula in S.E. Asia.
I agree that the headquarters and most visible published address for FJ Dynamics is in Singapore, but it's actually correct that the company is legally Chinese ("FJ Smart Agriculture" is the legal entity; "FJDynamics" is a trademark owned by FJ Smart Agriculture). I only know this because when you mentioned Singapore, I was curious because I've always heard that FJD is Chinese. So I went on a little open-source reconnaissance mission. :-)
I also didn't know until today that the founder and CEO of FJ Dynamics (Wu Di, aka James Wu) was formerly the chief scientist for DJI (the drone company, also Chinese). DJI has provided funding to FJ Smart Agriculture.
