North Liberty and South Bend, Indiana | New to me truck with a 475 6nz. Has more power than old truck with 350 Cummins but just doesn't feel like 475. Could be its electronic and just drives different or could be taller rear-end. Has 100 pounds of fuel pressure but will only hit about 27 pounds of boost max at 1500-1600 rpm. So question is what amounts of boost can you get out of your engines and at what rpms? Wondering if I have a small fuel leak on suction side of engine. Will look for a sight gauge to check it. Has no codes stored on computer that I can get off dash without using a computer. |
