Subject: Anybody ever regret going from drill to row planter for beans

sw ontario
Like the Deere no till drill for planting/harvesting beans but now with seed costs and us having to plant 220k seeds/acre -brookston clay I was thinking of going to a Kinze or Deere unit planter 15" rows & could cut seed back to 175k /acre...

Tryed some 30" beans, came up great but lesser yields, some neighbors say 'broadcast beans ' 2-3 bu. better than rows so that pays for extra seed....

IDK if Kinze are the best but seems late model used ones have a special high price
