Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | Elevator should have checked this out but I'm sure they were busy at harvest so I wouldn't place much fault on them. The custom guy is at fault. He stole your grain. He should have consulted with you first. He should pay you NOW and collect from the other guy. This isn't your responsibility. Have you paid him for trucking? If not, deduct from his bill and let him go collect from the other guy.
If it don't get paid, talk to them and if nothing happens have an attorney send them a letter. Next, go to small claims court. Business is business. They basically stole from you.
