What is going on behind the scenes of this market is way beyond the administrations ability to fathom reality. Our loss.
You and others keep saying this and I'm sure you are in no position make the judgement. For a long time we've had talking heads on media playing expert (I'm not a doctor but I play one on tv) and elected official and appointed bureaucrats with their own agenda acting as though they are the only folks qualified to handle these talks. I guess if you say you are qualified, it must be true (certainly the results don't show it).
It would seem the previous administration(s) treated the rest of the world like the child of a non-custodial parent where the non-parent does anything to win the child's love over the other parent (money, toys, participation trophies, etc). That doesn't work (no winning), so I'm good with a different approach. Frankly you guys have no idea who the administration has tapped for background information and they don't need to say.
