How much corn have you risked under or not harvested due to drought and heat? In 2012 we disked all of ours except 15 acres in creek bottom. Something that hadn't happened here since 1983. It's not something I will ever forget.
Markets did get beat down early in 12, then a quick sharp rally that peaked in Augusta? Could be similar this year but I think a short crop would mean decent prices at least until planting time next spring.
