| I think we can all agree that trade with China has not been conducted on a level playing field. This has to be addressed, but in a reasoned and sensible way. What I don't understand is why America is attacking Canada? According to the Commerce Dept., America has a trade SURPLUS of $18 billion with Canada in 2017.And yet this administration is attacking Canada, one of America's strongest allies and friends. If Canada is considered an enemy by the Trump administration, all bets are off. We have seen this play before, in the 1930's and it was not a pretty picture. | |
