Lots of memories of those days.  Drove a support truck to Topeka, funny happening there, a farmer stopped his 4 wheel drive John Deere in the middle of an intersection near the capitol, pulled the key and walked away.  Cops called for a wrecker to tow him, wrecker drove up, took one look and said "no way".  After a while the farmer came back and climbed in and the parade went on.  

    We sent a JD 3010 on the trip to DC.   But,  I was in the hospital with a heart attack by that time and missed it.  Had to watch on Tv
