Subject: RE: Farm strike 1978

Always wondered what became of Cryts and his farming operation. I was in my early years of farming, and was intrigued by the interplay of production, and legal wrangling. Did his operation survive?

I also have a vague recollection of another farmer some years previous, who got crossways with the USDA due to overplanting. At that time, we were tightly regulated as to the number of acres of any crop we could plant---an attempt to reduce burdensome surpluses. Seems like I remember this fellow eventually selling out, and moving his activities to Australia.....or at least saying that he would. showboat.
