Blvd d'Espair Bowhill, Sth Aust | I am VERY definitely not a morning person. Don't mind working well into the night, but simply don't function at all well in the AM..... Hardly know my own name before 10 AM
I find it interesting to observe 2 things about "morning" Vs "night" people.
1. Morning people are so intent on sharing their joie de vie just after they wake/get up, and are insulted when I don't appreciate it similarly. But they get upset if i try and share mine at 11.30 PM
2 Night people at least recognise that morning people exist...We mostly don't understand them, and think they are quite strange, but we do grudgingly accept that they are that way. On the other hand, morning people mostly don't really seem to believe that night people exist as such, and seem to think that we are pulling their leg if we say we might prefer to go to bed at 1 AM and get up at 8, and they think we REALLY go to bed just after they do, and just sleep 2 or 3 hours longer. I have discussed this with several morning people, and after listening, they agreed with me, saying "yes..I think that is probably so.."
It is probably just as well that we are not all the same... |
